"Absolutely beautiful place! Have all ready recommended to friends!!"

The breakfast provided was Amazing!! The location was breathtaking, the hosts were soo welcoming and friendly!! Our first time staying at a B&B, so we were a bit unsure of what to expect!! But Martin & Verity made it a wonderful experience!

Not used to sleeping in a double bed anymore and perhaps darker curtains at windows may have helped a sleep in?? Minor details really when everything else was soo good!

"Totally perfect in every sens"

So this is one of these places. It's totally perfect in every sense. The house is amazing! Isolated, with amazing view on a bay. Hosts are super friendly - they made us wonderful breakfast (really - it's amazing) and prepared as hot bathtub for the night. They are also very interesting couple - read the book :). In the morning I swam alone in the bay (easily reachable from the property). The whole experience was perfect and imaginable value for this money.

The hosts, the location, the accommodation and the hospitality are 5 stars+ the views are to die for, especially the one from the toilet! 😄6 We had an incredible meal cooked by Verity, which they offer as an extra; it was restaurant quality, superb! As for breakfast, that did not disappoint either. It too was delicious 😋 Especially the homemade bread, jams and marmalade along with eggs fresh from their hens. The whole experience was so good that we will be back if only to enjoy their great hospitality and to see more of Verity's wonderful art works. Such a talented person. Martyn also has his talents; he is the perfect host. He made us feel welcome and entertained by sharing his knowledge of the local area and experiences. Truly great people!

There is nothing not to like, except for me, the drive into Port Levy is very steep and I have a fear of heights but boy was it worth it!!! It was such a magical place that I would endure the journey again.

"Lovely spot for a night on Banks Peninsula"

It is not in Christchurch but in Port Levy, a somewhat remote spot on Banks Peninsula, an hour from Christchurch. It is a beautiful spot, with lovely views. Some small Hectpr’s dolphins were playing in the bay. There are lots of birds.

No faults whatever.
