City House Bed and Breakfast

Fabulous guest house. As comfortable as any top class hotel for an overnight stay in a city.

Loved the breakfast in the morning and the room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed the coffee/tea bar with the baked cookies right outside our room. Everything went smoothly and we very much enjoyed our stay!

The parking could have been a bit easier as the lot was very small and we had some difficulty finding it the first day. We understood that there was going to be construction. It was communicated ahead of time which was helpful.

It is a cute house turned to hotel.

The square footage of the room was not mentioned on the Booking.com site. The picture of the room is misleading, looked larger but is a small room. Also, the rooms are all upstairs and there is no elevator which is also unmentioned in the website. If you have heavy suitcases, you have to lug it upstairs or call the Manager to request her help. The breakfast was good, however very limited quantity. The woman in charge of the breakfast area kept going to the kitchen closing the door and every time we needed an extra toast or muffin, we had to kick on the door. This was a bot embarrassing to keep knocking for more food, so we left the place and had an early lunch on our trip onward.

Love the heavy bedding and the fact that it is quiet so you can actually sleep. The breakfasts Caroline makes in the am are exceptional. it is a lovely property and very welcoming.

Very charming. Walkable to downtown. Delicious brunch.

TV/Hulu set up didn’t work. No biggie… I didn’t bother reporting it, which I assume they would have addressed if I did.

Excellent healthy breakfast. Rate it above other B&B fare.
