"Exceptional"

The breakfast was excellent, with a nice assortment of breakfast foods to choose from. The main entrees changed each day of my stay. Even though the hotel is located in downtown Harrisburg, it was surprisingly quiet at night.

"Its a great"

I had meetings that started too early to stay for breakfast. The room and house are fabulous. This is at least my 3rd time here. I got an early morning walk along the Susquehanna and across the old pedestrian bridge to the island - always a treat.

I love everything about this place! Beautiful, historic, very friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms are beautifully appointed. I just wish I could have stayed longer! Don’t forget to ask for breakfast in-room if you can’t make it for the 8:30 or 9am breakfast buffet!

"Beautiful Inn, very Comfy"

Beautiful old home but updated to today’s standards ++ Loved the wood floors, beautiful bath with heat, comfy bed, coffee and tea station and location near family.

Only the location is impacted by heavy traffic which is not forgiving of out-of-towners. Would be great if the hotel could help this but alas, it is right in a city!

"A welcoming return after a dqy of business meetings."

Our stay was very enjoyable and the Inn met our business needs beautifully. The breakfast was outstanding. The Inn also went beyond expectations in providing truly good food very early in the morning to meet our needs. Terrific find!

Better directions to the enclosed parking lot.

"Great place to stay."

Breakfast was great. Room was wonderful. Location is great.

Need to spread salt in parking lot and repaint parking space markers. Another guest fell in the parking lot, I helped him up. The lane markers are so old, I had to get out of the car to see them.

"Comfortable, affordable bnb with great breakfast."

The bed was super comfortable, the room was well lit with big windows and a fireplace filled with candles. The breakfast was an actual house made continental breakfast. Check in was easy and the innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. Didn't want to leave.

No complaints.
