City House Bed and Breakfast

The array of breakfast foods was broad and plentiful, including some gluten free muffins for my spouse, that were provided as a last minute request. It's a great location with the Susquehanna river walk park (not it's correct name, but) directly across the street. Very convenient to the Pennsylvania State Capitol, it's minutes away by foot.

The room we stayed in was a little small. Not uncomfortably so though. This is the second time we've stayed there, and we got the same room with no significant view of the river (It could be seem by craning to look out a bay window on the side of the house), in spite of our request for a view room. However, the house was nearly full, so presumably we got the best they had.

The breakfast was exceptional, fresh and delicious. The bread and oatmeal, my favorites!!! .. I also like the vibe of the room and the service.. I liked everything!

I can't think of anything but that it was a little pricy but, it worth it!.

My husband and I had a great time and Caroline was great, the breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful location, gorgeous cozy house and lovely gardens to enjoy the views.

The architecture and furniture.

Have always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast and this exceeded my expectations. Carolyn, the inn keeper was great and breakfast was delicious despite her being short handed. There were also small thoughtful touches in the room. Conversations with other guests over breakfast were an unexpected highlight as well, but you also have the choice to sit away from main table at smaller bistro tables or outside. In my opinion this place could easily change more, but I'm glad they don't because I wouldn't have stayed there.

If you are a very light sleeper like me you may hear some noise from traffic, but I brought my sound machine and slept as good as I do at home.

For a small inn the breakfast on offer was sufficiently varied with some home made muffins, choice of breads and a hot option

There were no aspects of our stay that we felt could be better
