The Cleanliness, the caretaker , approach, price, facility

Too far walking from Ganga.

The room is located in a villa inside a gated community that is very well maintained, quiet with peaceful surroundings. The access to the main ghats is quite good though the climb back up from the road is a little tedious. The highlight of this place is the caretaker (Prakash) who is on top of everything (clearly loves his job) and extremely helpful. The breakfast served is awesome. Overall, a great place to stay in Rishikesh especially for young folks and for older people if they have their own vehicle with them.

Too few electrical outlets in the room for charging your devices.

The cottage was very homely, clean, and comfortable. The host, Prakash (?), was the real gem of the place and gave us practical info to navigate the place, nearby hotels, and cooked us a wonderful breakfast in the morning. He also helped coordinate the taxi pickup in the morning which was a real lifesaver due to the insane traffic in Rishikesh.

The location was not ideal, as to go to the river side, e.g. Ram jhula or further down Lakshman jhula, you need to walk quite a bit, and that too uphill. There is no convenient rickshaw one can take from the location. If you have a scooter then no problem! While everything about the property was great, I didn't like the fact that the owner of the place had not properly provisioned for the sleeping place for the host, Prakash. I went to the kitchen late at night to fill my water bottle and didn't realize that he was right there in the kitchen, sleeping on the floor. That's just not done :(.

The location was perfect enabling us to access all the important points. Amazing staff , cleanliness, and took care of all your needs.

What can we say. Prakash. He's literally the best host I have had in all my travels... ever. A very kind man with a lovely heart who we will really miss. He is so attentive without fuss. He cooked anything we asked for, and it was brilliant and fresh. Amazing varied breakfasts. His answer to everything? No problem. Laundry? No problem. We miss you very much and your wicked laugh 😃 The accommodation is back away from the noise and bustle and has a nice terrace upstairs too. Lots of places to sit inside and out and a fan to cool you. The room is very spacious and clean. You can also walk down to the Ganga restaurant, which was astonishing quality every time. I think we ate there ten times.
