Everything about Marsh Mere Lodge was exceptional. Claire was amazing and the breakfast was to die for. Arthuirstown was an amazing location. We ate at The Local Pub Dunbrody and again Pat was an amazing host and food was excellent. Will return

It was homely, full of character. Excellent breakfast. Claire and team made us very welcome. Fabulous location. Would definitely stay at the property again.

So welcoming and helpful with suggestions on where to go in this scenic, historic part of the Irish coast. The upstairs guest lounge was also most welcome on the very wet first evening. The following afternoon, the weather changed for the better and we enjoyed the superb view from the front porch.

La padrona di casa cucina un'eccellente colazione, sia che tu voglia la tradizionale irlandese sia che tu desideri qualcosa di più semplice. I formaggi sono stati eccezionali, uno più buono dell'altro. La vista della casa (perché questo è un vero b&b, si alloggia in una camera della casa padronale) è incredibile, sulla baia. Si può fare colazione, bere un tè, leggere affacciati dal loro giardino con la vista sul mare. C'è anche una sala al primo piano a disposizione degli ospiti per leggere. Eccezionale davvero. Posto tranquillo e fuori dai circuiti del turismo main stream. Camera graziosa arredata in stile.

l'unico problema di questo posto è che ha un unico pub vicino per altri locali bisogna prendere la propria auto, ma è anche il motivo per cui è così tranquillo e rilassante.

Marsh Mere Lodge is a splendid place to spend any amount of time. Claire is an exceptional host and her lodge is fantastic. It is beautiful. She has thought about everything, from the lovely bedding to the books on the amazing furniture there is art and design apparent everywhere. Her breakfasts alone are worth the trip. When someone puts this much care and ability into an endeavor it is a pleasure to share the experience. You do not want to miss this destination.

I didn't like that only after two nights we had to leave. Claire is a wonderful host who has created a beautiful place to rest and enjoy.
