The cottage and surrounding village are picturesque and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the room was immaculately clean with good facilities. Breakfast was a delight. The hospitality and generosity of the hosts, Sue and Nigel, was warm, welcoming and unmatched anywhere else. They literally saved the wedding we were attending!

Pretty building, never slept under a thatched roof before. A great location in a wonderful village. Sue and Nigel were exceptional hosts and we loved the coffee and cake on arrival. Tasty breakfast.

Nigel and Sue are wonderful hosts. I shared such informative and funny conversations with both of them. They are so smart, and hilarious storytellers. I loved my stay with them.

We had a wonderful stay at Wheelwrights. The accommodation was very comfortable and there was plenty of room. Sue and Nigel are perfect hosts, very welcoming but not at all intrusive. They were very helpful in giving us information about the places to visit around Abbotsbury and beyond. This helped us to make the most of our three days in the area. Abbotsbury is a beautiful village and we loved our time at Wheelwrights.

Loved the traditional white stone room, own entrance and off road parking. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts very helpful with local tips. Abbotsbury is a great location to be based. Lots in walking distance, as well as short drives.

A separate building with direct access to the car park. The hosts were very generous and hospitable. The location is very close to the local pubs and tourist attractions ie walking distance.

There is nothing to dislike.
