A wonderful place to be. Nigel and Sue are fantastic, we had the best time in Abbotsbury you can imagine. We enjoyed your delicious scones by the swans :-) All the best, kind regards S. & E.

Location excellent for all the places we wished to visit.

The only small thing and this isn’t a complaint, our bedroom curtains were very thin and let the light in early at 5am. I only mention this as I am used to blackout curtains at home. It would have been nice to have had a choice of brown bread or white bread for toast as my partner prefers white bread rather than wholemeal. These are just minor observations and in no way reflect on our satisfaction with our stay, which was delightful.

old charm, great location for walking and buses

We stayed two nights with the hosts who could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We felt really lucky as they were experts in local history and in giving helpful advice. The beautiful garden was an unexpected and very welcome extra. Breakfast was lovely - an absolutely enjoyable stay.

Nigel and Sue were wonderful hosts. They were so warm and welcoming and really helped make it a fantastic trip.

The hosts, Sue and Nigel, were absolutely amazing, extremely accommodating and just all round lovely people. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean and quiet which is exactly what you need after a long day of walking. We had the best nights sleep! The breakfast was exceptional and very filling. Can’t fault Wheelwrights! We hope to come back again.
