Maggie was very nice person and very helpful with everything we needed. Its a good value for the money, hostel kind of accommodation

They didnt update the status of the street, it was under construction, no taxi or any kind of transportation could access the street and some restaurants were closed. There is a looot of stairs so its good if you want to stay fit after all that delicious food

I enjoyed the friendly and caring hosts, the very comfortable and spacious room, plenty of common areas, a wonderful terrace and a fantastic view of the city.

However, I found the breakfast to be not very fulfilling in my opinion.

I like staying in the main house more. They are doing construction in a new building behind the original property. The lights would flicker when they do construction which was all day. Overall, good place to stay!

The property was located just at the outskirts of the busy and touristic area (10 min walk). The view at the property was amazing. Jazz (the tenant) was very responsive and provided good tips when we arrived in Oaxaca. She also let us overstay a bit and chill on the terrace before taking our night bus which was very kind of her.

Arriving at the property, there was a lack of information on where to get the keys and who to ask for (there is no desk). We arrived down the steep staircase and saw two huge dogs which might be a bit scary for some people - even us who have experience with dogs we were a bit scared to go up as we didn’t have a heads up. The neighborhood is very charming during the day but then during the night we needed to talk the taxi to drop us off in front of the hostel (count +/- 70 pesos).

Great accommodation with a lovely view over Oaxaca. We loved our stay here. Our room had a nice terrace with view. The family was happy to answer all our questions and was very welcoming. Great location just out of the city centre of Oaxaca. (About 15 min walking to the centrum).
