"Lovely little B&B"

Have stayed here before so knew what to expect. Lovely guy that runs the place and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was great and enough parking for those staying. Great value for money

We were on the top floor (so lots of stairs for my pregnany wife) and unfortunately was very cold and thermostat was controlled by owner. But we weren't in the room much apart from sleeping so was not a big issue.

"Fabulous value, great location"

Attentive host, great location, good facilities, ridiculously good value for money.

Room 1 was a little musty smelling, clearly due to the age of the building. If you have allergies to those kinds of smells I would suggest making sure you have antihistamines with you. But that is a negligent point for most people.

Good breakfast selection, and Steve the proprietor, fitted timing as well as contents around our preferences. Noting was too much trouble for him, he (and his other half whom we met but briefly) were warm and friendly (without being overbearing). The place was spotless, and much cheaper than a Travelodge-type experience. Excellent parking for my large MPV, and a five-minute walk from Caerphilly Railway Station for frequent trains into Cardiff - and excellent and rather pretty location, especially if you like Victorian vernacular architecture.

One of our number would have liked a little William Morris wallpaper around the place, but she is hopelessly pre-Raphaelite.

Didn’t have any breakfast but I’m sure the options were available,happy with what I had in my room ie tea/coffee(black because I only drink plant based milk)water
