Very warm welcome from host Strve. Really clean and suited our requirements

The staff were extremely welcoming and pointed out good places to visit, eat and drink. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and it’s less than 5 mins on foot from the train station.

A slightly bigger shower cubicle would have been in keeping with the bathroom size and the grouting needs re doing - not unsanitary as it’s the pesky spots we all get but would be nice to step into a bright white shower

The location is ideal, especially for castle touring. We slept peacefully, the location felt homey and secure.

Rooms was excellent, very clean. The parking situation was very good..

I had an evening function at the local golf club.This was nearest hotel - just a few minutes walk away. Easy to book. Friendly welcome. Off road parking. Nice large room with view and comfy bed. Good en suite with good, easy, warm shower. Sensible price. Just the job! And if you wanted, an easy walk into town and to the Amazing Castle - that you can find out more about on www.cadw.com. - then easy too! There is also some good walking and cycling to be had locally. And the Train station is just minutes away, so you can easily, directly get to Cardiff, and to the beach and pier in Penarth, in very short time. I didnt stay for breakfast, that is an additiinal charge, as i had other plans, but what i saw looked and smelled good and was made fresh to order. Would i stay again? If i needed to stay in Caerphilly, yes!

Nothing really, certainly for my want and needs.
