A perfect halfway stop between northern England and Glasgow. The service was fantastic, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with a lovely artistic touch. And that incredible Scottish breakfast… just unforgettable!

Breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were very comfortable, relaxing and characterful, and my dog was made very welcome.

This was a very minor thing: we stayed in the Picasso (family room), which had two double beds plus a futon, and only one bed had bedside lamps. This is the only reason I didn’t give the facilities top score - but really everything was fab.
