Stunning location. The heating was a big plus (never before in Scotland I've been worried the temperature being too hot during the night). The hot tub was great in the cold weather!

We never received information email that would have told us the basics, i.e., pin for the lock, how to get in, what room we are staying etc. We tried contacting the host by phone but the number wasn't working. We also sent message via the booking.com chat but never got a reply. Gladly the keyes were in the door as we arrived. Eventually when we found another phone number online and called the host, they seemed annoyed by us for asking questions. The host told they had replied in the chat but we never received any responses, could be a system error too.

Super cute wee place, comfy bed, hot tub is ace

The central heating didnt seem to come on at any time, making drying shorts etc impossible. It does say in the welcome pack that the heating is maintained at 21°c, but I feel that it would be a more enjoyable experience if we were able to turn the heating on as and when required, to warm the place up and dry the hot tub clothes/towels
