Garrison Farm with Hot Tub

We loved it all. I loved how there was a little shed with essentials you would need. The room was super cozy and a great size. The farm is wonderful and we saw the cows! Additionally, there was a home cooked breakfast if you’d want it. The area is fantastic with beautiful views. I wish we could have spent more time there! Everything was perfect.

Perfect location close to the West Highland Way trail. The place was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. We arrived quite late, already after dark, and seeing the electric fireplace warmly glowing for us was one of the nicest moments of our entire trip. Thank you for such a wonderful welcome!

Bydlení mělo všechno. Je to takový ráj uprostřed vysočiny. Pohodlná postel, teplá voda ve sprše. Všechny věci pro pohodlný a hlavně pohodový pobyt.

Overall, the room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was hot (enjoyed the towel warming rack).

After a long day walking the WHW, it was another 1.8 mile walk uphill to the farm. No signage, knocked on a nieighbours door and was redirected further uphill. The owner had notified me that she would be away and that there would be someone there in her place - upon arrival, I called out for someone and thankfully, another guest heard me and came out to show me that my room key was hanging on my door. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the shower was hot but no extras not even a tea bag. Instant coffee, kettle, toaster. I found tea bags and cereal in the shed along with a message asking for donations to help sustain her rescue animals- I feel that a tea bag should be the bare minimum when paying this rate for a night so I was not willing to pay anymore money so, no hot tea! Was unable to log into the wifi or operate the tv and only found the manual with instructions in the morning when leaving. I was looking forward to my stay but was disappointed.

The secluded location is fantastic drive any further and you'll be in Loch Lomond. Kelly, the dogs and the geese give you a warm welcome. Lie in the hot tub, take in the views and be watched by the highland coos. If you want peace and quiet with a little rustic charm this is the place for you to escape from it all.

Location was close to the West Highland way and provided a quiet relaxing atmosphere after a rainy day of hiking. The hot tub was a welcome sight and appreciated! The morning light hitting the valley was a highlight of our trip.
