Common areas were excellent beautifully appointed and well maintained. And what we saw of the upstairs bedrooms was impressive. They were beautifully appointed as advertised. The lady who cooked the breakfast was very pleasant and accommodating. Bed was comfortable.

Very disappointed in the room we were given. It was a smaller ground floor room on a concrete slab totally unlike the upstairs rooms. The room itself was tolerable at best but the bathroom was a big disappointment. The shower was small (my wife and I are not large people) which made it difficult to move around in, causing water to spray in several directions, the sink was crammed into a tiny vanity area and situated on a challenging angle, making the simple task of washing one’s face a lesson in dexterity. The toilet seat did not stay in an upright position. What was most disconcerting about that situation was we were not informed of the disparity in rooms when we booked. And we knew for a fact there were upstairs rooms available at the time. And the price for our room was commensurrate with the nicer rooms. No “discount” or lower rate was offered. We were told by management that our room was highly desired and often requested by returning guests. In all honesty I find it hard to believe especially since the room rate was no different than the nicer, upstairs room rates. Lastly our plea to management to express our dissatisfaction was met with some civil resistance, and with no contrition at all.

Clean , nicely decorated rooms . Access beautiful kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Restaurants, lakefront all within 1 or 2 blocks . Nice Breakfast included
