Location was great.

Room was on top floor. Bit much when carrying 2 luggage boxes from carpark up narrow stairs but it was manageable.

Bedroon in need of deep clean, decoration, modernisation and refurbishment. Bathroom clean but some areas need attention. Windows dirty. No mention in blurb of stairs to bedrooms. Some guests may find stairs problematic. Bannister to first flight of stairs loose. One has to remember the inn is a pub, so a certain level of noise in the evenings is to be expected.

Lovely pub with friendly staff, great location near the motorway.

It was a bit noisy on Friday night when I went to bed because my room was at the back of the pub and above the beer garden.

Perfect enroute stop over

Great location in the middle of Wellington. Lovely old pub, the room keeps the charm with its layout and furniture. One of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had. Bonus if you like dogs also!

I didn't ask if there was one, but a small fan in the room would have been nice as it got quite warm.
