The Countryside Udawalawe

Zuvorkommendes, nettes und hilfbereites Personal. Sehr sauber und toller Pool. Die Safari vom Hotel aus war super und zu einem fairen Preis. Auch der Transfer, sowohl zum Hotel, als auch zum nächsten, waren too. Restaurants und Geschäfte sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Trotzdem eine ruhige Gegend

THEY CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION ON THE DAY. We booked the day before while planning our one-night trip to Udawalawe and chose this place because it looked great in the photos. However, on the day of arrival, while we were waiting for our taxi, we received a message cancelling our reservation as they had already given the room to someone else and “forgot” to update it on Booking. They offered to move us to another place, but we had no confidence it would meet our expectations, so we were forced to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. Although they apologised, this is extremely disappointing and unacceptable for a professional business. If you are a flexible traveller booking last minute, I strongly suggest avoiding this place.

Nice swimming pool. Accommodation was nice and clean.
