Location and property was absolutely outstanding, beautiful room and gorgeous Mountain View. Food exceptional, breakfast was ten out of ten lots on offer and plentiful. Hosts go above and beyond with food quality with homemade bread & cakes everyday. Cakes were a lovely added treat after a full day hiking. Hosts had excellent knowledge of the area and provided maps for plenty of trails.

"Absolutely fabulous."

Everything was fabulous from the warm welcome, and the excellent breakfasts to the comfortable bedroom with beautiful views.

WiFi was very intermittent, but we were happy to have a few days without it.

Peaceful, rural location, great hospitality, fantastic breakfast. Lots of walks from the property and a few miles away around Ullswater. Had visited previously and will definitely return.

Great food & the couple who ran it were exemplary.

Excellent location, beautiful decor with a story of the couple lives. Helpful advice on exploring the Lakes. Beautifully cooked breakfast. Would recommend and definitely be back.

"Fantastic little find and great hosts!"

The hosts. Great friendly and hospitable hosts who made my 18 year old and his girlfriend feel very welcome. And they loved the home made muffin treats!!

Everything about the property was superb! Even saw a red squirrel and some gorgeous birds in the garden terrace attached to the room.
