The hosts were amazing. Really helpful and always up for a chat. The place had a really cosy feel and was surrounded by nature.

Lovely tucked away cottage bed and breakfast. The owners were very helpful and they had great options for individually cooked breakfast.

Would have been 100% perfect if not for the hard mattress, neither of us slept much over our stay sadly which did ruin it, meaning we had no energy for what we had planned and went home early on checkout day and went straight home after breakfast and slept for 4 hours! I've rated value for money and comfort low because of this and sadly we wouldn't return based on this alone.

Everything about the property was exceptional. The location, the grounds and the room size. The beds were comfortable, the food was excellent and attention to detail was outstanding. A friendly couple who went over and above usual expectations to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

The location is tranquil and quiet yet close enough to other towns and villages. The hosts are kind, informative, helpful and have a real passion for the environment. They have knowledge of walks and hikes, plus maps you can borrow. The food was truly delicious and set you up for the whole day. The wildlife around the property is something we could watch all day.

Whilst it's great to go off grid for a few days, beware that depending on weather and what phone service you have, little or no signal can be had whilst in and around the property. There is wifi though. It wasn't an issue for me, but just being honest.

very good breakfast . bedroom comfortable and adequate for our purposes. there was a patio included in the price where there was a bird feeder. saw lots of wildlife inc a red squirrel . everything very clean and well organised. our host was attentive without being intrusive

bedroom was close to the dining area but it did not worry us in the slightest
