The Cowshed

The location was great. It was very peaceful and had an amazing view . It was my birthday and we enjoyed walking along the canal to the Sun Trevor pub and had an excellent meal. The cowshed was lovely inside and had everything you needed. The bathroom was beautiful and the bath was my favourite feature. Breakfast was delicious. I would return here again for a relaxing break

The Cowshed was exceptional! The conversion from cowshed to abode is so well done. The furnishings are very comfortable, and the soaking tub and shower in the huge bathroom (with radiant heat) are over the top incredible. The location is great......with the tow path along the canal located across the street from the driveway. Walking into town or to the aqueduct is so easy

We loved everything.

The cowshed is in a stunning location up on the hill just outside of Llangollen. The road up the street is a little rocky so if like us you had a hire car you may want to go very slow. The room itself surpassed expectations it was beautiful! The bed was comfy, there were lovely chairs to lounge in and read and the terrace had a little table and chairs if you wanted to sit outside or have breakfast out there. The owner, was so friendly offering recommendations for food and they brought breakfast (croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice) which was an unexpected bonus. For me the highlight was the bath, it is a delight and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. If I were back in the area I would stay here again without hesitation.

Beautifully decorated room but could've done with a small fridge inside. (Large shared fridge available over the yard but would have preferred one in the room.

Fantastic location! Breathtaking views, beautifully furnished and cozy! Perfect location to get into town and Wrexham.

That we didn’t stay longer

The location was perfect. It was so central to everything. Whether you wanted a walk along the canal or a day out in Llangollen. The bath was also so relaxing after an active day and the room was beautiful. We didn't want to leave. Definitely will rebook.
