The Cowshed

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with a wonderful scenic view. The room was beautifully presented, clean and looked after. Lots of extra little details made The Cowshed a great place to relax for our weekend break! Thank you for an awesome stay!

There is nothing not to like about this place, all i would say is bring thick socks or slippers as the carpet is quite an unusual sensation on the feet! Maybe we are too sensitive 😂

The property was in a lovely setting and the decor and facilities were amazing. The bathroom was very luxurious and there was a lot of attention to detail. A great quiet location perfect for walking break.

So pretty. Attention to detail was beautiful. Clean and comfortable and very relaxing atmosphere. We didn’t want to leave ! Will definitely be returning :-)

Beautiful accommodation very quiet with great views. Close to Llangollen and Wrexham so plenty of places to visit. Intending to return in the summer when the weather is better. Highly recommended. So relaxing.

Everything was excellent

Room was amazing. Bathroom and tub, which ngl was one of the main reasons I booked it, were 5 star. Plenty of choice for hot drinks and the breakfast was tasty. Really nice family who owned the place too.

The drive up to the accommodation is not suitable for smaller or 'city cars', or any with a low undercarriage or wide berth. Had a really difficult time getting up and down it without completely damaging my undercarriage especially as the 'road' is very uneven. As it is have scratched one side of the car badly in the attempt. Also it was pitch black at night and not something I wanted to try in the dark which meant walking in the dark down an unfamiliar canal to get to the closest eating place (Bring a torch). Wear reflective clothing as you have to cross a fast road 4 times and I felt very unsafe and invisible trying to do this.
