Overall, Kate's B&B was amazing! We appreciated all the art and colorful atmosphere that she has created. She made us feel right at home. She made sure that we had everything we needed for the comfortable, clean stay at her place! We will be back for sure!

Welcome to the quintessentially homey in this Alaskan BNB! The atmosphere and property is charming, relaxing, making you feel like you are home, rather than simply being waylaid in some stranger’s house on the road! You might arrive for the bed, but you’ll want to stay for the experience. As the sign said, “Stay seated for the entire show.” The show in this case was an excellent homemade breakfast which was served with all the flair only an experienced Grandma could deliver! Before experiencing all of the charm Kate offered, she expedited our stay with getting our room ready a good three hours before our slated arrival time. My girlfriend was ill, and Kate hurriedly got the room together in all about 10 minutes, allowing her to the rest she needed. Not only this, but Kate went out of her way to ensure she was doing better once we had gotten inside and checked in with us the next day. Kate wholeheartedly cared about my girlfriends well-being, and I could not thank her more for her kindness. Kate is extremely generous, and we are thankful to have found her when we did. Thanks Kate!
