"Misschien wat gedateerd maar wel een puur Engelse (Schotse) B en B"

Gordon, de gastheer, heeft ons heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Hij gaf ook goede informatie over restaurants en de omgeving. Echt een typische B en B van het oude stempel waar je te gast ben in de woning, zit in de kamer en mee eet in de eetkamer. Gordon heeft ons ook de weg gewezen naar de Duncansby Sea Stacks om de papagaai duikers ofwel Puffins te spotten. Dat was zeer de moeite waard. De Sea Stacks zijn overigens al te bewonderen uit zijn keukenraam maar zijn goed aan te lopen vanaf de vuurtoren.

"Perfectly lovely stay close to John o Groats."

This is a room in someone's house. The host was lovely and courteous when showing us the room and facilities. The room was clean and comfortable, and homely. The host gave breakfast options, but we had other plans, so we cannot comment on these. Lovely view from the window of some sheep and the very tip of the stacks.

You could not lock the door from the outside. This is minor as the host stayed in the venue, but if this is an issue for you, please keep this in mind.
