I was welcomed by Gordon, who showed me where everything was, and what there was for breakfast. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and warm. The kitchen was large, bright and well stocked. Perfect stop on route from Orkney. There was plenty of off-road parking, on the main road and easy to find

No outside sitting space, but that wasn't an issue for me

Wir haben uns im Hamnavoe John o Groats Hostel sehr wohl gefühlt. Gordon, der Besitzer ist einfach Klasse und es war eine tolle Zeit. Gordon war sogar so nett und hat uns am nächsten Tag zur Fähre gefahren. Herzlichen Dank für Alles.

Easy to find.Very convenient location for Gills Bay ferry. Personally checked in by owner, despite late (11pm) arrival. Breakfast self-service and free.
