Friendly personal approach of the owner who was extremely helpful and attentive. Location is less than 4 minutes by car from John o’groats, fabulous.

Mr Gordon was very hospitable and friendly. He did give instructions and suggestions in advance. The place is a share home with himself and other guest. Considering his age and health he did do his best to provide a comfortable place. Everything was provided for basic needs.

"Hostel stay with warm welcome, little more"

Mr. Gordon is very kind and welcoming, allowing us to arrive later than the check-in time. John O Groats is a wonderful and peaceful place. Thoughful small replacement for breakfast.

The house could have been cleaner; there was a strong, musty smell in the room, and breakfast was (understandably, due to age and health) not included, despite the booking page stating otherwise.
