Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft ist sauber und ruhig gelegen. Zum Frühstück konnte man sich selbständig mit Müsli und Haferflocken in der Küche versorgen. Wer ein 4-Sterne-Hotel erwartet ist falsch am Platz. Jedoch bietet die Unterkunft alles, was man benötigt um ruhig, sauber und freundlich ein oder mehr Nächte hier verbringen zu können. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr fair, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Gordon - the owner lives at the hostel with his little dog. He was very helpful and kind... concerned I might not get a meal at the local pub he drove me down, went in and ensured I was served. He's an older man who is struggling with mobility. Good location, room was fine for me, safe bike storage. No meals served, but cereals provided for breakfast to 'get you going'. I'd stay there again

"Great stop in John O’Groats"

Very comfortable room and extremely kind and thoughtful host.

Unfortunately, I did need to work and the Wi-Fi was not good enough for what I needed. I ended up having to go to Cafe’s or libraries to get my work done.
