Heir Island House

I stayed at Heir House for two nights and I was sorry I didn't book longer. I cannot say enough about Heir House. Claudia and Craig are so, so lovely. They are so welcoming and super accommodating. I stupidly brough a tiny suitcase with wheels to an island, which wasn't the brightest idea but they picked me up from the ferry when I arrived and also dropped me back. This place is in a beautiful location, right beside the ocean with spectacular view and lots of lovely places to sit outside. My bedroom was beautiful and super clean. The bed in particular was AMAZING. There's a gorgeous, cosy sitting room to chill out in in the evenings and many, many books available to read. The food was absolutely amazing too. I only had breakfast (which was divine) but one can order evening meals too (which also looked divine). As well as that there is/are always coffee/tea/snacks available 24/7 which I simply LOVE - and I think it says SO much about the place and these wonderful people. You MUST VISIT. PS, the island is absolutely stunning too, and so peaceful.

The hosts were simply wonderful. The food was exceptional, the welcome was fabulous, the room a delight. Simply put a small piece of Heaven.

Lovely place for relax

Heir Island House is located in a beautiful spot, facing the bay and just metres away from a beach and a short walk from the ferry. We were given a warm welcome from the start by Claudia and Craig who looked after us attentively throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. For breakfast you are offered generous portions and the food was delicious. Although the pizzas are wonderful, as guests we were also given the choice of home made food.

Heir Island House is such a cool and unique place to stay! The hosts/owners are wonderful, and it's a real experience to take a ferry to this special little island with incredible natural beauty. Highly recommend!

Very high quality food, carefully thought out and well presented. Lunch and the evening meal were equally high in quality and well presented.
