Annie's Place Bed & Breakfast

Jared, the owner, is so engaging. Gave us a history of the region and several good hiking recommendations. The view outside our door was beyond outstanding. Highly recommend this B&B!!

Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, tasty breakfast

The best part of the experience was Jared, our host. Very knowledgeable about sights to see, history, places to eat, conditions of dirt roads given our vehicle, and the local culture. The room was nice with a great tub and shower. Breakfast was very well done and different every day. Jared provided his own homemade jams too. The location could be great or just fair. Next to Capitol Reef, it is about 45 minutes from the visitor center where there are quite a few trails. The ride to the Visitor Center is beautiful. That said, we liked the location because it is near the middle of Capitol Reef so if you wanted to take the dirt roads to less travel sites this is a great location. Less crowds and lots of beautiful sites. FYI, we were driving a standard SUV and had no problem with the dirt roads. The other very positive aspect of the location (in Boulder, UT) is that there are two very good restaurants nearby. We found it difficult to find good restaurants near most of the National Parks in Utah so this was a great surprise!

There are not enough horizontal surfaces in the room. There is space for a larger table so this could be easily fixed. Note that the bed is very comfortable but it is high off of the floor.

Jared was excellent... great food, great conversation...everything better than imagined!!

The room was comfortable and bright. The view from the balcony was stunning. Breakfast was amazing each day we were there. We will be back.

The only problem was that there was only one chair in our room. It made relaxing a little difficult. But it was still a wonderful place. We will be back
