Shoreline Holiday Accommodation

The manager had obviously given a lot of thought to making the accommodation as good as possible. The room was clean and well equipped with shampoo and towels and everything required. A really nice touch was the fruit bowl which was much appreciated. The tea tray was well stocked. A quiet hotel with good parking and in a good location. Will definitely book again if I’m coming to Bournemouth.

I honestly find it hard to think of anything wrong at all.

Double bed in a room with a sink, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, fruit and plates etc. Use of microwave and fridges just outside the room. Great location for easy access to Southbourne beach.

No breakfast provided, as mentioned in the advertisement, but fruit, biscuits and cold fresh milk were provided free of charge. There was a large fridge freezer near to the room on the landing and a microwave with clear instructions as to how to use it, although I never use microwaves. Lots of places to dine out nearby, or have a coffee, and Costa Coffee is open very early in the morning even on a Sunday. The instructions in the booklet in the room give ratings for local restaurants. The bed was large and comfortable and the room a good size, not overlooked and clean, while the adjacent shared bathroom with a shower and bath was also clean. The shower actually worked!! There was very little sound pollution unlike most hotels, B&Bs and guest houses. The hotel/guesthouse is on a housing estate, attractively decorated outside as well as on the inside, in a quiet residential area which is evidently affluent. It’s easy to get to central Bournemouth and Poole on the buses from the main road, which run very frequently and even up until midnight. The host was very helpful and carried my bags up the various flights of stairs upon my arrival. Tea coffee, hot chocolate, water, sugar, fruit and biscuits are all provided in the room.

Perhaps the fruit could have been fresher.

I didn’t have breakfast as it wasn’t included but there was a lovely fruit bowl and biscuits. Yea coffee and hot chocolate plus cappuccino so I didn’t go hungry. The room had everything I needed. It is a little dated but that does not matter as it is clean and friendly and very welcoming. Great location by the sea and wonderful walks and close to amenities. Will definitely be back. Thank you

We had a very cosy stay here for a couple of nights and were impressed with all the added extras. Where else would you find a bowl of fresh fruit, biscuits, coffees, hot chocolate and a big bottle of fresh water. Not forgetting other added touches like plates and knifes and forks just in case you order a takeaway. It was lovely to stay somewhere without having to pay extra for our dog too. The hotel is placed just a short walk from a lovely dog friendly beach with lots of places to eat near by too.
