We were going to an event at Cannock Chase so location was ideal,staff were lovely and breakfast was yummy, my husband particularly loved the porridge with banana, blueberries and cinnamon

Faultless- the proprietors have thought of everything. Really comfy beds, spotlessly clean room, fan for hot weather, fluffy towels, very informative guest info in the room. And the breakfast-wow. Coffee- also wow.

We stayed in a beautifully decorated room at the top of the building. All staff were very welcoming. The breakfast taken downstairs in the Antlers Cafe was excellent. Partner thought the sausages, bacon and eggs were some of the best he'd tasted in years!

We stayed for 2 days and although we asked for decaf tea/coffee/water top-ups at breakfast the following morning, as per the instructions, the large flask of water had not initially been replaced for our return after a day out. However, an enquiry in the cafe quickly resulted in new water and iced water because it was such a hot day ❤️

Excellent breakfast and delightful place to stay. Charming village with nice walks nearby. Several nice pubs and restaurants nearby as well as the charming “Cobwebs” and the village shop.

A couple of things to know: shower would be fairly tight for a larger person. Sink is very petite! A couple more coat hangers would have been useful and I’m sure would have been forthcoming had we asked.
