The room was a good size and very clean. Everything was well stocked with essentials (tea, coffee, milk, water, toiletries). Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Great location for the wedding we attended.

The bathroom was along the hallway rather than en-suite, which we hadn't expected (though it was for our private use) - perhaps I'd simply not seen this at time of booking! The bedside lamp didn't work, and a fain in the room would have been welcome given the very hot weather. At breakfast, the toast seemed to have been made ahead of time so was cold and hard - freshly made toast would have been much nicer.

Being in a quiet room as requested. We would stay there again

The sloping ceiling was awkward, particularly in the bathroom above the washbasin.

Really clean and comfortable. Staff really helpful. We were up really early for a sports event and they provided a microwave for our room so we could prepare breakfast and despite returning after checkout time they were happy for us to still have out ‘official’ breakfast.

Really picky but maybe some USB plugs and sockets.

Lovely friendly staff. Couldn't do enough to make the stay comfortable. Breakfasts are exceptional and to a high standard every time. Consistently perfect poached eggs too!

Not really suitable for anyone with mobility problems as access to bedrooms can be challenging. However as it is a very old building with beams etc, its part of the character.

Lovely room, comfy bed, and fluffy towels.

The location was perfect. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was really good.
