"Bittersweet"

The village was amazing, the pie shack and surrounding shops was a real hidden gem. The food in cafe was amazing and the crown next door was great for food but the pub across the road was better for atmosphere 👌

Unfortunately due to the pub next door it was very noisy with revellers outside the pub until midnight which was that loud that it sounded like they were in tge room no fault of the bed and breakfast but really did spoil the stay. Due to this if I visit the village again I will not be staying in the b&b which really is a shame as the staff food and accommodation were brilliant.

"Excellent Breakfast but Challenging stairs"

The property was in a ideal location and was clean and comfortable, there was fresh tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits freshly cooked breakfast was excellent. It had good views across the village. The Village is a lovely place to explore with a help guide available and 4 pubs..

The stairs were a bit step, if you are tall or have a big suitcase it would be a challenging. the bed was comfortable but did squeak a bit, as the room was in a converted attic the slop of the ceiling can mean you can bang your head!

"Stay at Antlers!"

The location in the lovely village is ideal. Liked the quality of the room furnishings and the thoughtful bits and bobs that were provided, such as bottled water, plus a carafe of water for making tea. The cafe where we had breakfast was superb - delightful service and good food.

The entrance hall was a mess and the paintwork in the entrance corridor is tired and shabby, giving a bad impression on first arrival. In my room the shower head would not remain at a set angle - it flopped down. Too many cushions on the bed! But don't be put off - it's "great bed" and "great breakfast".
