"Very Good"

Lovely room. Easy to locate, good instructions, nice facilities. Nice breakfast, lovely staff.

Steps into bathroom...need a tiny, sensor light, ( USB charged) for safety in night...no warning. Room was very chilly in the morning.

"Passable (just) for the price."

Breakfast good. The village location is nice. Bed comfortable but on the small side.

Rediculously small hand basin and poor mirror. Not suitable for shaving and only just big enough to brush teeth. The bathroom is not suitable for tall people! The entrance hall is tatty and used for storage. Minimal decor and poor lighting in bedroom. One light in bathroom not working. Staff at breakfast could have been friendlier.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was welcoming with everything we needed. The breakfast was perfect 👌

"Perfect for our 1 night stay."

Great location, provided ever we needed. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Our breakfast in the adjacent cafe was really good, lovely service.

The windows needed cleaning and it was a bit draughty but then it’s an old building. The wash basin was very very small, difficult for my husband to shave without getting water all over the floor. Also he banged his knee in the pipe work under the sink when he was using the toilet, and he’s not particularly tall.
