A wonderful historic, quirky hotel with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Only 10 min walk from downtown Winston-Salem. Would highly recommend.

The property is very beautiful, but it felt more like an Airbnb . Which I was not expecting, but there are a few things that can be improved. 1. were three locks on the door and they all stuck. It was very difficult to get into the room or to lock the door. 2. No room darkening shades. 3. Lacking ice machine or access to beverages or snacks.
