"It’s like staying at your grandparents place in the best way"

Carole and Andy are lovely! They are so friendly and help with every problem you have! The breakfast was 10/10 and we even got a breakfast bag for the last morning because we had to leave so early in the morning, that Carole prepared a legendary doggy bag with sandwiches and drinks, sweets, fruits and chips. It was like staying at your favourite grandparents home. The location is great with an amazing view over Loch Linnhe.

The water pressure was very very low in our room, which made showering quite hard. Washing hair was impossible.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en ook uitleg van alles in de buurt. Proper kamer en badkamer. Ontbijt was ook heel verzorgd.

Het bed was wat klein.

"Fantastic hosts and venue."

Amazing venue with stunning views from breakfast room. Andy and Carol were exceptional hosts with a wealth of knowledge and advice regarding places to visit, things to see and do and best places to eat. Choice at breakfast was amazing with both continental breakfast and fully cooked available. Room spotless. Kettle with tea, coffee biscuits and mints. Excellent sized mug to drink from was much appreciated . Thank you so much Carol and Andy.

Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Room and bed were comfortable with all the amenities. Hosts were friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to stay in the middle of Scotland with easy access to Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, etc. I highly recommend Balcarres Bed and Breakfast!

"One of the best B and Bs we have stayed in, will definitely be back."

We loved the location, being away from the main road made it very quiet and the view from our room was lovely. The choices for breakfast were excellent, everything cooked to perfection and we particularly liked the fresh fruit that was available. We also liked having a fridge for guests use and a 'proper' coffee machine! Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts, they had thought of everything and their local knowledge was really helpful.

We don't feel anything could have been improved on.

"Great little B&B, fab location and hosts were great."

The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and nothing was too much trouble. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and helped with advice and information. The location was superb, although quite a jaunt on foot as it’s located up a hill, well worth it though as the views were great over the loch.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like to be honest.
