Balcarres Bed and Breakfast

We had a fab stay. Andy and Carole were kind and friendly hosts. The personalised touch they have added to this accomodation makes it all the more special. Breakfast was plentiful and well-cooked. Location: about a 30 mins walk from the main town center; easy to navigate.

Owners were really friendly and helpful, room was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

The hosts are the loveliest, most helpful people. They coped beautifully with me in my exhausted sleep deprived state, and had a lot to tell us about the area that led to some beautiful experiences for me and my daughter. First rate breakfast and service during breakfast. Oh and the view out of the window at breakfast was magnificent.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts are very lovely people and made us feel very welcome. The room was cozy and the beds were fantastic. Breakfast was tasty and also a nice moment to chat with the hosts. Would recommend.

The home is in a great location with a stunning view. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was delicious and made hot to order. It was cooked and served personally by the hosts. From a personal welcome to calling a cab for our departure, Andy and Carole were the most amazing and personable hosts and fonts of knowledge for our various questions and helped us to refine our local experience.

Carole and Andrew were great hosts, informative. The porridge.

The light from the porch is too bright, and shines into the room, so had to put towels over the gap above the curtains to reduce the light in the room.

Breakfast was excellent. There was a large selection of cold cereal, fruit and yogurt and then a full hot breakfast menu to choose from.
