THE BOTHY SUITE BY TEMPLE WOOD

They were very friendly, and great hosts! A lovely basket of breakfast choices and fruit was there when we entered. The small space is nicely divided and decorated in a charming way. The beds are comfortable. Don’t forget to duck when going through the hobbit door!

As others have said, finding it was a problem! We used Google and it missed by a few miles the first go round. (Google said it was on the main street of a town, but It’s actually in a small community of houses )

Very cute, clean and comfy beds. Spacious bathroom. Good host communications. Tasty breakfast items. Bread, Fruit, Cereal. Good place for our one night stay.

The composting toilet is quite loud, especially for those in closest bedroom. No space for clothes or luggage storage - rooms are quite snug. A hallway between two bedrooms set with kettle and microwave is nice, but calling that with a little kitchen table in each room a "dining area" is a bit of a stretch.

This was a quiet location near Kilmartin. It was a little difficult to find...but once we arrived, we appreciated the quiet location. We had taken a red eye flight into Glasgow and drove up to Kilmartin and this b&b for our first night of needed sleep. It's also not too far from where we wanted to take the ferry to Islay and on to Jura. The pub in Kilmartin is close by and had great food. The b&b offers continental style self serve breakfast foods which were perfect for our travels.

Hard to find at first

The location near to the Temple Wood stones and cairns is really good so we could walk there in the early evening. There was a very nice basket of breakfast goodies in the 'kitchen' passage. The beds were very comfortable.

There is very little space for 4 adults to eat. We all got together in one room to eat our biscuits and cheese because it was too cold and dark outside.

Very comfortable and clean. A lot of thought had gone into the decor.

Quirky. beautiful location. Sitting in the garden. Proximity to Kilmartin, Stone Circles and Standing Stones.

Comfortable B&B. Really nice. Host very helpful Good self service breakfast provided Nice comfy room Quiet village location though in easy walking distance of a v good local pub Very well positioned to see the neolithic sites Lots of good walks in the area

Our hosts were extremely thoughtful and generous with the food they left - a variety of pastries, bread, cheese, milk, orange juice and cereal - which made our trip so much easier as there isn't a food shop anywhere nearby. The bedrooms were really cosy and comfortable, and we both slept very well! The hosts were informative and friendly about places to visit nearby which really helped with restaurants and finding activities, as we were only there for a short time and wanted to make the most of it.

The driveway is quite steep, but it wasn't a big issue!
