Alison was very welcoming and extremely accommodating. My daughter had an early race the next day so Alison got up earlier for us so we could have some toast and a hot drink. We had our own toilet in our room and access to our own bathroom. It was a warm evening but the three velux windows gave us ample fresh and cool air so we were not too hot at night, unlike our friends at the Premier Inn!!!

Easy to find, the decor is very traditional, but very comfortable. Lovely crisp bed linens, plenty of quality towels in the en-suite, everything you’d expect in a good hotel room - the best selection of teas and coffee that I’ve seen in a hotel or B&B. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Alison made us very welcome and was happy to share local information about restaurants. Views of the lovely garden were a bonus.

Nothing really. It satisfied our needs, would happily go back.

Great accommodation in a large house. The gardens were extensive and stunning. A little surprising given that the surrounding area was quite a large housing estate, but Tresillian House was like an oasis in the midst of it. Lovely room, well appointed, with a good breakfast. Would recommend for an overnight stay in Melton Mowbray.

Nothing to dislike.
