Tresillian House

Close to town and to the venue I was attending. Plenty of car parking space. Only a few stairs, 12, to the bedrooms, which was spacious and en suite.Tea and coffee making facilities with a mini fridge for water and milk. Bed was quite large and very comfy. My room overlooked the car parking space and the lovely garden. The garden is in the National Garden Scheme and sits in nearly an acre. Breakfast was served at the time I requested it and there was toast, full English, fruit juice, cereal, jams, sauces, tea and coffee and yoghurts. The owner is friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable about the area.

It was a nice property, good location. Bed comfortable.

The shower was like lava and couldn’t use it. Was no point in getting host to sort as needed to leave properly that morning. Grandfather clock went off every hour through night all night. I was woken every single hour. I don’t even know what floor it was on but loud enough to sound like it was in the same room. Breakfast had to be at 8.30, 8.45 latest.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotless and well maintained, and the location of the property was ideal

Lovely house set in a lovely garden. Well appointed rooms with a traditional feel, but modern fittings and some fun touches.

Lovely place and very friendly owner who informed us of places to go and eat and drink locally and very kindly let me charge my car overnight.

Great hospitality, breakfast, room, all spot on, would return.
