La Corticella Bed & Breakfast

We loved our stay in this trulli! The room was spacious, original and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the outdoor gardenspace and Mary, the host, was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was delicious with homemade cakes and sweets. We are very glad that we chose this B&B to discover this part of Puglia.

Nothing is over our expectations

Mary is the best host, who provides the cleanest accommodation, maybe on earth! This place is so impressively clean, I was just blown away. I have stayed in a lot of places on different continents, but this is a level of clean I have never experienced before. Even though this is a historic property, I dare you to find one speck of dust anywhere! The pictures do not do the trullo justice. This is a spacious historic trullo with all the modern comforts, and good shower in the large bathroom. The lighting in every room is cozy and warm (often lacking in other accommodations) and even though it is a true trullo (4 cone shaped roofs to enjoy and admire in this one unit!), there is a lot of natural light. The mattress was comfortable and new. The garden is beautiful and well-kept. We were so lucky that we were the only guests during our entire stay, but even if there are other guests, every unit has its own outdoor space and seating for privacy if other guests are there too. The walls of the trullo are so thick I doubt you would ever hear the other guests when inside. Mary cleans the unit and makes your bed every day. In the morning, she provides a sweet and savory breakfast with local products that is different, with freshly baked sweet and savory baked goods every morning, and Mary is a very good baker. Mary is kind, attentive and available without being intrusive or overbearing - the perfect host! Her English is very good too, which was helpful. And her black cat Nerino, the King of the Kingdom, is her perfect sidekick. We hope to be back one day. Thank you, Mary! You were our best stay on our entire trip.

There is absolutely nothing to not like. This place gives you an amazing vacation feel. You feel pampered and can experience a real trullo in the best possible way.

This place is paradise. Beautiful property, immaculate cleaning, and really really comfortable. Breakfast was incredible. Definitely coming back.

I loved everything.

Modern, well equipped, spacious, clean trullo with amazing outdoor area. Location is very convenient to see beautiful Alberobello, Locorotondo and Martina Franco. Roads to trullo are good and typical for this area. Delicious home made breakfast with local products.

The location, the property itself and the hospitality of Mery were amazing! We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay.

While we really enjoyed the breakfast, it was made up predominantly of sweet things. They were homemade cakes and such but there wasn’t much choice of savoury things to eat. Wasn’t an issue for us, but it could be for others.
