Super cheap price and excellent quiet location in the middle of the centre of everything. Warm water in shower was broken but they installed a new heater the next day.

Many cockroaches in the room and airco not great. When asked to clean the room they said "not today, the housekeeper is sick" while their is staff sitting downstairs doing nothing.

The room was spacious and clean. They provided two bottles of water per day of stay and good toiletries. The location is great. Good value for money stay

The clutter near the staircase can be cleaned up. It leaves a bad vibe.

Quiet location

Advertised daily housekeeping, I stayed 4 days my room was never cleaned by housekeeping staff.

I liked the owner of the place, a very nice and helpful man. Though I lived next to busy streets filled with bars, I never felt disturbed by music or loud voices after midnight. The location is very close to the sea, 7-10 minutes of walking and you're at the beach. I lived on the first floor and it also had a balcony, which made me have 2 entries to my room, the room has enough space for two, but I felt myself awesome living alone) Especially 2 big armchairs at the balcony They also have a cozy bar with food and drinks

I saw some huge insects in the toilet (Probably because of my 2 entries on the 1st floor) Broken mirrow on the wardrobe You literally forced to hear what people say at the bar

I had a really pleasant stay at Nieuw Vlandereen. The location is excellent, it's in a quiet area at the end of a dead-end street, so there's no traffic or noise which makes it perfect for relaxing. Despite the peaceful setting, it's still close enough to get to shops, restaurants and the beach easily. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there's also a cozy bar and restaurant downstairs. It really gives you the feeling of staying in your own house with a private bar and kitchen just below. The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back and it’s a great place to enjoy a drink or meal without having to go far. The host was very nice and welcoming, which made the stay even more comfortable. As for the room, I really liked the layout and amenities. There's a comfortable sofa where you can relax and a veranda with a table and chairs, perfect for having coffee or breakfast outside. The room also includes a microwave, kettle and a large fridge, which is very convenient if you want to store food or prepare simple meals. The room was clean, spacious, and felt very homey. It’s ideal for both short and longer stays. Overall, a great value for money and I would definitely stay here again!

The only thing I didn’t like is that there’s no elevator in the building. If you have big or heavy luggage it can be quite difficult to carry it up orndown the stairs especially if you're traveling alone or as a female traveler. Just something to keep in mind when booking, but aside from that, everything else was great!
