Thoduwawa Beach Villa

Where should I start.. this place was just amazing! Very warm, welcoming hosts and staff. Beautiful big, clean rooms with great bathrooms. They thought of everything: Conditioner, Blow drier, Mosquito net, Coffee, Tea, Water, Cups, Fridge. Really great! The pool has a sunsail over it so you can stay in the pool without getting a sunburn. :) The full body massage was simply amazing too - just next to the ocean with the nice sound of the waves. It said it would be 40min, but it was longer than an hour. They made it possible to get the massage last minute. We could recommend this place to everyone 100%. Thanks a lot for the great stay! ☺️

It is on the beach the staff are fantastic.the food is great choked by in-house chef ,the pool is great and cleaned every morning ,the rooms and all areas are spotless clean the owner and the manager sanji and all staff can’t do enough for you from morning to night . 10/10

Fabulous place, clean, well run. Attention to detail is great. Lovely pool area, with beach towels plus, a relaxation area across an access path which opens onto the beach. Great breakfast, dinner was superb and prices very reasonable. Highly recommend.

The villa is really off the beaten track (although close to the station), not a problem for us but something to bear in mind.

The dark sand on the beach and the shallow sea make the water not excellent, but not problem for me

Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and we had an evening meal cooked by the very good on site chef. Beautifully kept gardens right onto the beach and a good sized swimming Pool which was cleaned every morning Very clean room and modern bathroom with a balcony overlooking the sea. We booked one night but liked it so much we stayed for two. Highly recommended…

Close to the rail line and some train driver do use their horn in the night but this was not a problem to us. It’s all part of being in Sri Lanka.

Me and the wife found this place for a last minute booking and only stayed for a short while but we were so glad we found it as we will definately be back. The personal service and attention to detail provided by Sanjee was second to non, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect right next to the beach which was very quiet and peaceful, not your usual tourist trap. The villa its self is beautiful and the gardens really make it a tropical paradise. I really cant speak highly enough of the place and we cant wait to come back.
