Fateh's Retreat

- Emplacement et environnement absolument exceptionnels, face au parc - Écrin de verdure et havre de paix qui donnent l'impression d'être dans une bulle hors du temps. Nous avons eu un pincement au coeur de repartir d'ici. - Parfaitement localisé, proche du parc - Environnement (faune et flore) de grande qualité, vous faites un vrai birdwatching en restant autour de la piscine. C'est féerique. Nous y avons vu plus de sorte d'oiseaux que dans le parc, incroyable. Les oiseaux viennent se rafraîchir près de la piscine. - Nous avons eu aussi la chance d'être entourée des Langur Sacré tout au long de notre séjour et avons eu la présence des macaques (conflits garantis entre ces 2 espèces 😅). - Personnel aux petits soins et extrêmement aimables, attentionnés et gentils. Ils sont très bienveillants et toujours disponibles. Ils anticipent et préparent tout pour faire de votre séjour un moment parfait (préparation pour les safaris, bouteilles d'eau...). - Nourriture et petits déjeuner excellents - Chambre spacieuse, confortable et propre avec vue sur le joli jardin. - Équipements de qualité.

We hade a fantastic two night stay at Fateh's Retreat. The staff were extremely helpful and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable and the cooked breakfast was one of the best we had while travelling. We also appreciated the readily available filtered water.

Endroit très propre et bien entretenu avec beaucoup de charme. Il y avait des singes qui courraient sur le toit le matin. Les déjeuners étaient délicieux. Là où ils se démarquent est le service. Mon conjoint a eu beaucoup d’aide de la dame en charge pour m’organiser un souper de fête, faire faire un gâteau et même faire décorer la chambre des pétales fleurs pendant notre absence, pour me faire la surprise.

The grounds were lovely and staff very helpful . There is a restaurant very close to property which is part of the same ownership which is convenient

Although there was a nice pool there was not much else to do if you were not going on a safari Taxi to train station was quite expensive with no uber service available

Beautiful location, attention to detail, outstanding helpful staff. We loved Fateh’s retreat from the moment we arrived. The garden, pool and rooms are lovely, and it is very peaceful. Delicious breakfasts, and we were kindly provided with very early morning coffee before our morning safari as well as water to take with us. The best place we’ve stayed so far in India!

Amazing property and wonderful hospitality. Large clean rooms with fresh water and turndown service. Good large breakfast with cold and hot made-to-order options. Everything is thought through, including the morning safari wake up call with fresh coffee, and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent location (not in the busy town, close to the park entrances so not a long drive to safaris, jeeps and Cantors will pick you up from here rather than a central pick up point). Really good restaurant and bakery owned by same family at the end of the drive. The gardens are truly beautiful - our only regret is arriving late on check in day so not having much time to enjoy the pool and grounds

The add-ons are very expensive: 14,000 for transfer from Agra is 4,000 more than the going tourist rate but fine for the ease of it. 1,000 for the 5 minute drive to the train station is an absolute joke (tourist price should be 100-200….) and then the driver still expected a tip when he dropped us off - I would expect the hotel to give the full fee to the driver

Everything. The rooms spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The service from all the staff was fantastic. The pool and surroundings were beautiful. The lady in charge was so nice and made everything click together.

In einer Bewertung über dieses Resort habe ich gelesen: “Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich das schönste Hotel meines Lebens in Indien finde“. Aufgrund dieser Aussage haben wir damals unser Hotel umgebucht und uns für Fatehs Retreat entschieden. Dies war die beste Entscheidung, die wir hätten treffen können. Noch ist nie in meinem Leben war ich in einem Hotel/Retreat was 1. so einen tollen Garten, Pool und Aussicht hatte und 2. so einen allumfassenden freundlichen, unaufdringlichen Service hatte. Es gibt neun Apartments, wodurch die Anlage nie überfüllt ist. Wir hatten eine unglaublich tolle Zeit und werden dieses Retreat definitiv all unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen. Wenn ihr in Sawai Madhopur seid, bucht dieses Hotel. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen. Eine Info zum Trinkwasser: man erhält hier gefiltertes Wasser in hochwertigen Trinkflaschen. Dieses kann bedenkenlos getrunken werden. Es schmeckt besser als in Deutschland und ist gut verträglich (ich habe einen sehr empfindlichen Magen-Darm-Trakt und habe es fünf Tage getrunken).

Eigentlich war alles top - wenn man auf ganz hohem Niveau meckern möchte wäre ein Kühlschrank nicht so schlecht gewesen auf dem Zimmer - man konnte jedoch zu jeder Zeit Getränke oder Wasser bestellen daher zu vernachlässigen
