Vida Nova Kruger

The breakfast was acceptable to good. It would have been better if they had catered for a Hallal diet. However, we were happy with the foods that were provided.

Both the basin and shower were clogged. The water from the shower was spilling into the bedroom and this had caused us an untold amount of inconvenience. I had complained about this the first morning after checking in and was told that management had requested a plumber to rectify the problem. The abovementioned issues continued for the next two days, and despite my complaints and protestations, the blockage in the shower and basin remained unresolved. On the morning of 31 December, after breakfasting my spouse and I returned to the room and found that the cleaning staff had left the room with all their cleaning materials, including buckets of water mops, brooms etc. with no cleaning staff in sight. We then decided to go on a sightseeing drive and returned at 3.30pm expecting the room to be cleaned and tidied up by then, only to find the room in exactly the same dirty and untidy state as when we left it at 10.00am that morning. I opened the basin taps to check whether the blockage in the drainage system had been repaired and to my horror found that the basin was still not draining water. I reported this to the receptionist and insisted that I speak to the manager. I and my wife then took the decision to cancel our stay at the hotel and proceeded to pack all our belongings as we were by this time fed up with the intolerable level of service and the consequent inconvenience, we had to endure during our brief stay there. We in the meantime waited for the manager Amanda Morris to speak to us and waited for 30 minutes before she arrived to speak to us on the first-floor deck. We strongly protested about the events of the previous 3 days and informed her that we would be checking out and that she arranges for a 50% discount on the full payment made to Bookings .com. She responded by saying that that was not possible and the best that she could do was to give us a credit for the remaining days we would not be staying to which I reluctantly agreed.

We were staying over Christmas and had a lovely time! Staff was always very helpful with all kinds of requests. Rooms were spacious and clean. Food was really good too! Would recommend staying here. Thank you for making our stay wholesome :)

The food was delicious!!!! Our host Deli was just awesome. From her friendliness to constantly checking in with us during the stay to ensure everything was perfect!!!! Location was excellent, got to see animals all around Marloth park (Kudu, springbok & a giraffe) & being across the Crocodile river, we could get sightings of the hippos. So close to the Crocodile & Malelane entrance gates to the Kruger park which was so convenient. Really enjoyed our stay !!!!! Thanks to the team at Vida Nova !!!!!

Великолепное место и великолепный персонал. У нас была большая группа и ребята из лоджа ещё до поездки были на связи, отвечали на все наши вопросы, помогли подобрать оптимальный по цене вариант с сафари, с экскурсией по Панорамному Пути и с трансфером из аэропорта и обратно. Несмотря на грозу, которая прошлась по Парку Крюгер и окрестностям незадолго до нашего прибытия и несмотря на временный лоадшеддинг, все вопросы с электричеством были решены. Завтраки как в ресторане, так и в ланч-боксах, и ужины были выше всяких похвал. Ещё раз спасибо за гостеприимство, уже хочется вернуться!

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft um den Krügerpark zu erkunden. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen hervorragend. Die Lage der Unterkunft sehr gut. Was will man mehr? Wir kommen sicher wieder!

The property was very stylish and room very comfortable. Lovely bathroom. The breakfast and dinner were very good. Deli was exceptional with her welcome, friendliness and attention to detail.

We couldn't consume our own drinks on the premises eg at dinner. A bit far from Kruger gates - but we knew that :)

Onpersoonlijk personeel. Inrichting niet gezellig Krappe trap naar boven Ontbijt in de hal met de receptioniste.
