Daly, the maid, was super-sweet, she is a gem. Beautiful views from cave room and main house deck. Breakfast good, not exceptional.

Maria, the host, was scattered. Prepared wrong room for us, but Daly quickly fixed the reserved room for us. Saw host 2 hours later, after multiple texts and emails. My friend in the second room was very upset that host wasn't available to greet us and tell us details about staying there; especially concerning no code to open gate and leave property should we want to leave, go to dinner, take a walk...upset my guest so much she wanted to leave! "What if there were a fire?" she said, no way to escape with no gate code!! and thought host was unprofessional. Charged many extras above quoted price, tip for staff host added to bill, offered a ride to us then charged for that at checkout!

The owner (not staff) was very informative about the history of her property, but she does not understand boundaries. Spent too much time discussing her political opinions and insulted some members of our party.

Warm, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, she went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable—offering great tips on wineries to visit, must-try restaurants, and bakeries. Each casita at Quinta María is uniquely styled, blending authentic Mexican design with cozy comforts. Think handcrafted tile, wood-beamed ceilings, crisp linens, and breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards. Our room was spotless and quiet. Breakfast here is an experience in itself. Served outdoors with panoramic views of the valley, we enjoyed fresh-baked bread, seasonal fruit, locally sourced eggs, and traditional Mexican dishes like chilaquiles. Everything was homemade with love—and it showed. What makes Quinta María truly special is its peaceful, intimate atmosphere. The property is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, with hammocks and shaded patios perfect for unwinding after a day of wine tasting. It feels authentic, unhurried, and deeply connected to the land. Quinta María en la Ruta del Vino is more than just a place to stay—it's a soulful experience that reflects the beauty and warmth of Valle de Guadalupe itself. Whether you're exploring Baja wine country for the first time or returning for another escape, this is the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after you leave.

Neighbors can be loud across the valley.

Beautiful property I loved it. Breakfast prepared by Mari Carmen was delicious and she was very helpful and so is Teresa the owner. The views were the highlight of my stay.

Our room downstairs was comfortable but on the small side and my recommendation is to stay in the main house unless you need more privacy.
