Friendly owners, good location (short walking distance to town), great breakfast, comfortable bed, very clean room and bathroom. Kitchenette also available which was a bonus! Highly recommended!

"A few days break in Stratford was my birthday treat, and it was a really enjoyable time."

Breakfast was great. I am vegetarian and that didn’t phase them, alternative served and was lovely 👍 Parking was also well done via permit that host took care of well, and no issues at all.

Can’t think of anything.

The location was an easy walk into the village. The breakfast was exceptional. The decor in the dining room was a fantastic surprise for this big fan! The 2nd floor kitchenette was very handy!

Graig and Ema were so delightful and made us feel so welcomed. There’s a cute shared kitchen and it was fun to come back and have a dinner in for a change of pace during our month long travels.

Hosts went the extra mile to make us feel welcome & comfortable after a difficult and disrupted train journey. The room was immaculately clean as was the kitchen area, which was well stocked with a variety of teas , crockery, utensils and a fridge with a constant supply of fresh milk. Very much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and catered for my dietary needs (gf).

The weather - and that's about it! Trains were delayed and cancelled and the hosts at The Hathaways happily adapted to our changing 'eta's and went so far as to pick us up from the station to save us from a further drenching. They couldn't have been more obliging.

Everything was great! From the time of arrival to leaving they were so welcoming. The location is great and easy to get to. The room was clean and cozy and breakfast was delicious. When we were leaving my friend's car wouldn't start and our host even helped us with a jump start. I would, and hope to, stay here again.
