Good location to explore Amble and Walkworth. Accommodation was extremely clean , huge comfortable bed and lovely bathroom . Breakfast was excellent and our host was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again .

"Great place to stay"

What a great stay at Morwick House. We were greeted on arrival by Linda and invited for afternoon tea and a slice of cake. Linda was most helpful in sharing the best places to visit and eat. Our room was attached to the main house and accessed by a separate door only for us. The attention to detail was of a very high standard. Super King size bed, I believe, selection of teas and coffee with kettle and cups. I like peppermint tea and this was restocked after day 1 Separate wardrobe mean lt we could hang up our clothes easily. We were asked to fill in a breakfast sheet that evening and could select a time to eat the following morning. Cereal, toast and cooked breakfast was available. Again this was of a high standard. Morwick House is 5 minutes walk to the Castle, which is visible as soon as you leave the drive, and 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Warkworth. A great place to stay and easy to travel to Alnwick and Holy Island. We would stay here again.

Communication with Linda was timely and efficient. The house is in a great location, easy walking distance to both Warkworth and Amble. Very friendly comfortable stay, would definitely stay at Morwick House again when we are next in Northumberland. Thanks Linda for your hospitality.

Nothing to dislike- maybe a mirror in the bedroom would be good but hardly an issue!
