Vale Farm

The rooms are very clean, lovely and warm and I did not feel I was in anyone's way. In particular I like the shower room - that it is tiled. Everything in the right place.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, attractive classic farm-style decor, fresh milk for the tea, great parking, ideal for bikes, and very near the Triumph factory.

Not much. It's a 10 minute drive to the nearest shops.

The dog, the location of plug sockets, quietness of location and the flooring.

Rude owner, dusty room, some hairs in the bed (told it was cleaned which I believe, but hairs perhaps getting attached in tumble dryer), bed bows in middle, spider webs above head with dead spiders hanging in them, water leaking through front door causing mat to soak and bed not changed on second day despite raising concerns with owner the night before. Arrived at 10.30pm. Owner huffed and puffed when I called her at 10.53pm to complain, came into the room and was extremely rude to me. I accept I was late arriving but if the room was in acceptable order, there would be no need for a call.

The room is part of a recent conversion of farm outbuildings, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. It’s off the beaten track, in a beautiful part of the country, well suited for a break away from it all. Lovely hosts, very friendly, make sure I had fresh milk, and that I was comfortable in my room.

Nothing to dislike

Everything !!! . I stay in a lot of different places , as I’m away a lot , have to say this place was by far the best I’ve ever stayed at . My room was immaculate .

The hotel was situated very close to where I needed to be the next day. The room was small but sufficient for what I needed. I liked the fact that the room was on a farm. I enjoyed my stay

Maybe the addition of a desk to be able to work.
