Michael took great care to prepare my and my mom's breakfast in the morning and it was delicious with the freshest ingredients! We also had a delightful time speaking with another guest and the whole experience was very cozy and wonderful. The garden and outdoor area was beautiful and it was the perfect retreat after spending a couple of hours driving a rented car from London so that we would be able to visit Stonehenge the following morning. Also pictured was a pub called Pembroke Arms which was a ~12 minute drive away from The Mill House that had incredible food. The fish and chips pictured is to die for!

Everything about our stay was PERFECT.

Michael Mertins was a delightful host who shared his home, gardens, and a bit of history with us. We enjoyed exploring and sampling some plums & apples and seeing the ancient mill grinding stone in his yard. He made dinner reservations at the local pub "The Boot Inn" which served a great meal with a warm welcome and cooked us a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Michael ist ein sehr liebenswerter Gastgeber, der einem morgens ein wunderbares Frühstück bereitet und viel Interessantes zu erzählen weiß. Das Haus ist mit seiner Einrichtung fast ein Museum und hat einen wunderschönen riesigen Garten. Der Pub im Dorf ist sehr zu empfehlen

Old fashioned property surrounded by romantic remains of what had been a substantial garden.

Owner charming and whimsical. He clearly had difficulty managing the stairs.

Was really the most beautiful relaxing break away in such a beautiful bed and breakfast ! The room was big and so lovely 😍 the view from the bedroom was glorious! The gardens are beautiful. The cooked breakfast was definitely a 10 from us ! Micheal the owner was so lovely and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The mill house is set in beautiful surroundings, and is in a lovely friendly safe village 😀 . Five mins down the road from the Mill house inn is the Boot inn pub serving delicious food at great prices. Really enjoy our relaxing four days away .would definitely recommend staying at the mill house inn 👌 👍 😀
