Struttura non modernissima

Breakfast was good. The owner was very friendly. The gardens were lovely, it was very tranquil.

遅めのチェックインになってしまいましたが、柔軟に対応して頂き感謝しています。翌日の朝食も大変美味しく、丁寧にサービスして下さいました。周辺も大変静かでベッドも心地よく、熟睡できました。イギリスの伝統を感じさせる建物で、ご主人のお人柄からもアットホームな居心地の良さを感じました。

Excellent location Michael, our host, was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was every comfortable, and our room had wonderful views.

Nous arrivions de cinq jours passé au cœur de Soho. Le changement à été brutal. Notre fils à failli ne pas s'en remettre. Heureusement Michael a tout de suite compris qu'il lui fallait sa dose de Wifi. Donc le calme absolu à deux pas de Stonehenge et de Salisbury, la cathédrale dans les 'Piliers de la terre' de Ken Follet. Michael est un hôte charmant et de fort bon conseil. Il nous a tout de suite indiqué l'auberge où nous rendre, The Bell Inn a Wylye. On ne l'a plus quitté. Je ne suis pas salé au petit déjeuner, mais le Bacon & Eggs de Michael j'y ai souscris tous les matins. Donc en un mot comme en cent je recommande chaudement The Mill House, It is so british.

We stayed here for two nights in July 2025. As soon as you enter the house, it feels as if time has stood still for the past several decades. The vintage interior, the many old photos on the walls, the bathroom, and even the tableware and breakfast setting all reflect this atmosphere. Not everyone may appreciate this style, but it certainly gives the place a unique character. That said, everything was perfectly clean. Michael is an extremely friendly and warm-hearted man who welcomed us and was in good spirits throughout our stay.

The large garden on the property does deserve more attention, though. The garden furniture isn't very inviting for sitting outside and enjoying the space.

Very Inviting and wonderful location. Plenty of history to absorb in the building, surroundings and people who live there. Walking distance to a great pub. The village itself charming with friendly people.
